1. Order Processing and Fulfillment

We sell two types of products: our own proprietary products and products sourced via affiliate or dropship partners.

• Processing Time:
  • The time required to verify, package, and prepare your order for shipment is typically 1 to 5 business days. This is distinct from the shipping/transit time.
    
  • If you have purchased an eBook, access to the eBook will be mailed to you within 15 minutes of successful payment.
    
  • For dropship items, this time allows our suppliers to fulfill the order. Usually item is shipped out within 2 days.
    
• Order Tracking:
  • Once your order ships, you will receive an email notification containing your tracking number and a link to track your package. Please allow up to 48 hours for the tracking information to become fully active.

2. Shipping and Delivery Estimates

As we serve a global audience and utilize a dropshipping model, delivery times can vary significantly based on the supplier’s location and the final destination.

⚠️ Important Shipping Notice: Shipping during peak seasons (e.g., major holidays) or due to unforeseen global events may take longer than the estimates provided. We are not responsible for delays caused by the courier, customs, or weather events.

3. Customs, Duties, and Import Taxes

• International Orders: Customers are responsible for any customs duties, fees, or taxes imposed by their country’s customs office.
  
• Pastel Pastries Design has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Please check with your local customs office before placing an order.
  
• If a package is refused by the customer due to duties/taxes, the customer will be responsible for any return shipping charges, and the original shipping cost will not be refunded.

4. Returns for Change of Mind

We generally do not accept returns, exchanges, or issue refunds for change of mind. This is due to the costs and complexities associated with the dropshipping model and international logistics.

• Exception: If we choose to accept a discretionary return, the item must be unused, in its original packaging, and the customer will be responsible for the cost of return shipping. A restocking fee may also apply.

5. Returns for Defective or Non-Conforming Goods

We adhere to Singapore’s consumer protection laws and are committed to providing goods of satisfactory quality.

• Defective or Damaged Goods: If your item is defective, damaged upon arrival, or does not conform to the description on our website, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@pastelpastriesdesign.com
  
• Remedy (Singapore’s Lemon Law): For consumers in Singapore, under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (CPFTA) (often referred to as the Lemon Law), if a product is found to be defective within six months of delivery, the buyer is entitled to:
  
  1. A repair or replacement of the goods.
  2. If repair or replacement is impossible or disproportionate, a reduction in the purchase price or a full refund (rescission of the contract).
     
• Proof: We will require clear photographic or video proof of the damage or defect before approving a return or refund.
  
• Process: Once a defective return is approved, we will provide instructions for returning the item to the supplier or directly to us.

5. Lost or Stolen Packages

• Tracking Status ‘Delivered’: Pastel Pastries Design is not responsible for packages that are confirmed as delivered by the shipping carrier but are claimed to be lost or stolen after delivery. Please ensure your delivery location is safe.
